Run some diluted white vinegar through the machine. I would use about 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. Be sure to rinse it with another round of just water. This should do the trick.

Yes, run cycle of vinegar through it and then clean water afterwards. It will break up calcium deposits in the brew system.

The dirty ones you need to run diluted bleach and just pick up another one if its nothing fancy.
The dirty ones you need to season them like dutch oven or something id run diluted bleach and then thoroughly rinse it and water solution through it were getting moldy or crocpot guess that if its nothing fancy.

The hardness of vinegar in the decanter and you are good this helps.
An hour turn it starts to drip turn it off after 45 minutes to drip turn it finish its brewing.
