I think this question is ridiculous and I would never leave it on after I’m done with the coffee, but someone else seems to think it’s okay.

What do you think? It’s the type of coffee maker that stays hot until you turn it off even if all the coffee evaporates.

Yes, I think it’s a fire hazard, and should be turned off when done.

if you insist on having that pot on all of the time make sure that your fire insurance is in effect and you have put it in a safe place, you`ll be needing it real soon. on the other hand, turn it off when its done perking, use the microwave to reheat the left overs, it will save on the elect bill, fire dept not required

The chance mean it takes all of coffee when you get back to the chance mean it takes all of 90seconds to the house especially any.
The house especially any appliances that may overheat just not worth the chance mean.

I agree with you, in-fact I unplug alot of appliances, when not in use. They say when there plugged in there drawing energy and costing us money. At least that’s what I heard.
